IEEE NFV-SDN 2019

Call for Workshop

The 5th IEEE NFV-SDN conference, which will take place in Dallas, invites proposals for full-day or half-day workshops to be held on Nov 12, 2019 at the start of the main technical program. The scope of the workshops is to complement the main conference program with forums for exchange of technical expertise, development, integration and standardization efforts particularly focused on areas of interest within the frame of NFV-SDN. Proposals from industry and academia are welcome, in particular on multi-disciplinary aspects. Accepted and presented workshop papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
Topics of interest include the following:

  •  Network Slicing in 5G Systems
  • dvances in Network Service Chaining
  •  SDN and NFV Security challenges/opportunities
  • ortability and benchmarking of Virtual Network Functions
  • Edge Computing synergy with NFV and SDN
  • Machine learning for NFV Management and Orchestration
  • NFV-SDN deployment cases across vertical sectors
  • Validation and Verification of Network Services and VNFs
  • Testbeds and experiments with orchestration for 5G, vertical services and slicing
